[A customer, not drinking? No, no, this wouldn't do at all. A sober man wasn't going to sink as many credits on his ladies, and given that some of his ladies weren't, well, in the best... condition, they needed all of the help they could get. Leezar broke away from the customers he'd been faking an engaging conversation with, signalling to the bartender to give him a shot of Selzian gin-- the blue stuff-- which he took with him as he sauntered over to the eye catching customer.]

An empty glass is a terrible sight, if I do say so myself. [His voice was quite jovial, playful. He flashed a sharp grin-- very sharp, judging by some of his teeth. He set the shot down on the table and clapped a hand on the man's shoulder.]

On the house, my friend.

[Leezar took a moment to admire all of his fabulous rings-- he had great taste; it was difficult not to be impressed with himself all the time-- before pulling his hand away from the stranger.]

Oh, nothing more than a desire to play the good host. It's what turns walk-ins into repeat customers.

Hey, Leezar, remember that new harem of space hookers you ordered?

They just came in. The problem is, they're Space Leeran hookers. And Leerans are decidedly unsexy, be they hookers or otherwise.

They can do some pretty freaky stuff with those tentacles, though. What will you do with them?

Oh ew.

Ew.

Alright, the one on the right wasn't too bad. Her tentacles were quite shapely. She could stay. Maybe... maybe serve shots with her tentacles.

The rest?

He clapped his hands together and pointed to the kitchens. "Ladies, I'm sure you'll find yourselves quite comfortable just beyond those doors!"

Were they going to wash dishes, or was the Spice Lounge going to serve space calamari tonight?

IT IS A MYSTERY.

[Oone's getting ready to go on, finishing off her makeup and her hair. She's seriously hoping that she doesn't have to deal with the boss too much tonight. If she hadn't been so desperate for work on her arrival at OS19, she wouldn't have taken this, the first opportunity that came up. And she knows that if she tries to leave before her contract is out, there will probably be people trying to bring her back as unceremoniously as possible. Best to simply swallow one's pride, get on with the show, and save one's credits.]

[TOO LATE, he's here. Lingering in the doorway.]

Ohh, look at you. My little money maker. [SO MUCH SLIMY, PATRONIZING FONDNESS IN THAT VOICE.] You truly are the jewel of the lounge.

[Oone manages not to flinch or look disgusted, instead schooling her face into expressionlessness even as she can feel her skin crawling. She fiddles pointlessly with a hair ornament.]

Well, I do my best, sir.

[She stares into the mirror, trying not to look directly at him.]

I suppose an evening off tomorrow is out of the question?

Elphaba, meanwhile, was skulking about. She wasn't a stripper and she certainly wasn't interested in the entertainment, though there was the possibility that she could be mistaken for either one. Rather, she was investigating the treatment of the workers, seeing if any were coerced. If they were, she was going to get them out of this place before lighting things on fire.

...she was a bit of an extremist.

A green woman? Well well. Well well well. Leezar sidled on up beside her and flashed a charming, sharp-toothed smile.

"You know, they say green and red are... heh heh, complementary." IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

Elphaba just stared at him for a moment. "Are they? Well, then I must point out that one of the Leerans I saw earlier had particularly green eyes."

Sometime before Narvin was arrested by Arthas... timesbureaucrat June 20 2011, 03:59:27 UTC
[Narvin walks into the club and scans the mass of alien bodies within. He has to keep himself from subtly cringing away from all the multi-coloured, multi-limbed (or tentacled) people within. Humans at least *look* Gallifreyan.

He rolls his eyes at the sight of the scantily clad ladies writhing on the stage and the men (and some women and some...he wasn't quite sure what) near the front leaning towards them with gaping mouths. He turns away from the show and pushes through the crowd to the bar instead. He wants information on the galaxy beyond this station and that seems the most likely place to find someone who might be able to give it to him.]

[Leezar is, unfortunately, not a very good source of information. He's sort of on the up and up with notable persons and local gossip, but he's ultimately a self-absorbed nitwit who makes sure to ignore petty things like politics and impending war and blahblah. Still, he's here, leaning against the bar, arm around one of his girls as he chats up a customer. He takes a drink as the customer leaves, and his eyes flicker over Narvin briefly, sizing him up.]
