Spike AND Buffy - Exploring at random - OPEN!

Wow. It's- Wow. Big. [Buffy walks along with Spike, her eyes wandering to every corner of the large, busy common room. There's so much going on, so many strange looking creatures going about their day. Some relaxing, some hurriedly moving along to some other destination. She feels strangely out of place in this foreign space station with super-high ceilings, but so intrigued at the same time. Any time she sees someone or something with brightly colored skin or odd non-human limbs or facial embellishments, her first thoughts always go to demon. She has to keep a constant hold on her Slayer instinct here. It's getting easier as time goes on to remind herself that they're just aliens.]

Have I said big? Cause, big.

Spike AND Buffy - Ooh, shopping?! - OPEN!

[Her pace is slowing, and anything that Spike may have been saying is now going in one ear and out the other. Buffy has spotted the shopping district. There are strange and interesting clothes, random stores and stalls with unfamiliar high-techy items, and- Oh my god those shoes look adorable.]

Uh huh.. [She says passively to whatever Spike was talking about.]

[OK, unless they have early 2000s Leathergoths in space, this girl must be from the Barge. She is sitting in the midst of the boots section with a look of almost Nirvanic bliss on her face as she tries on a pair in bright crimson plasteel. She beams and waves as Buffy passes.] Hi! Oh my Gods this place has boots of awesomeness!

[Spike hasn't split quite yet, and this outburst gets an eyeroll. He's been wearing variations on the same boots for twenty years. The fascination with shoes has largely passed him by. He nudges Buffy with his elbow.] Kindred spirit calling, love.

[Buffy stops and awkwardly gives a wave back before shooting Spike a look. She gives Wanda a genuine, highly amused smile.] Yeah, actually, it really does. Good to know people and.. Y'know, other things, still have style in.. Whatever year this is.

You're from the Barge too, right?

Spike alone - space cantina - OPEN!

[Spike could only take so much staring at shoes before he found himself bored beyond belief. He'd made some excuses and walked away to find his own fun.

Now he's found a cantina with all sorts of interesting drinks he's never heard of. He has to try some. He goes up to the bar and orders something that glows a faint blue.

It's a good thing he's immortal.]

Buffy alone - Space shopping is awesome. - OPEN!

[She's already purchased a pair of adorable peep-toe pumps, and a blue leather jacket that she isn't sure if it's been dyed or if it's an actual skin-color of something... So she's carrying a couple of bags. At the moment, she's browsing through a stall filled with jewelry. Some glowing, some not. In any case, it's all beautiful, and she can't quite make up her mind..]

[Guess who else secretly loves shopping? Yeah. Iago. At least, he found he enjoyed it when he was in New York. And Salem. And Germany. So, after telling Claire that he would be back later and that he wouldn't wander far, Iago managed to take Renate with him and found...clothes. Nothing that yet appealed to him, but the overly vain soldier would find something soon enough.

Instead...he found Buffy.]

Be careful. [It was a whisper.] I doubt this jewelry is all that it seems.

[Buffy raises an eyebrow and smirks at the suddenly appearing Iago standing next to her. Then her gaze lowers to the dog. Huh. She responds in a low voice, but it's not really a whisper.] And I'm guessing you're not talking about cheap knockoffs with rash-causing metals.

Jewelry shouldn't glow. [He straightened up and stepped back, giving her a knowing look. It was mostly fake. He didn't know what he was talking about. But anything that glowed was probably a threat.]

Buffy AND Spike - lunch time! - OPEN!

[They had their separate bits of fun, but now it's time to meet back up for lunch. Spike meets Buffy with a cup of some dark purlplish liquid that glows faintly and smells a bit like blood. It is, in fact, blood, just not from any earth animal. Buffy has a more safe-looking vegetable sandwich. They find a nice, hovering bench and sit down to eat.]
