Martha's work day. Doing worky things.

When he looked concerned, Martha did allow the concern to show on her face as well. She couldn't recall when she'd seen a look on his face for something medical.

The word STD made her brows move towards her hairline, and quickly her hand slipped into her pocket for her scanner. She wagged her hands for a moment and then quickly looked to him at the mention of Biff. "Have you and Biff been having unprotected sex?" The tone was medical rather than social.

When Loki laughed, Martha smiled. Well, at least that was one last thing. She still remembered the adds that Biff had put up, and the last thing she wanted was for there to be an STD outbreak aboard the barge to go with the plague and SARS that had already gone around once.

"Alright, well, let's scan you and see if there's any concern, yeah?"

"It's this thing... it emits energy over your body, and it creates a projection and takes readings and lets me know if anything's wrong with them. Like if you had an STD, it would tell me what kind it was, and then I'd know what to do with it to cure you. It's actually rather brilliant." By mean of showing him, Martha traced the scanner over her hand, creating a three-d version of the bones within it. "See?"

I figured!

Martha laughed when he watched. Even now after using it every day, the scanners were still bloody brilliant. Nodding, Martha turned the scanner on the god, and then she put her hand on his shoulder. "Breathe normally, and you can keep your eyes open, it's fine."

She did trace the scanner over him, however and watched the readings. "You're fine, Loki. There's no sign of any STD."

Martha nodded, and then she smiled quickly, her grin growing on the congratulations. A brief touch of fingertip against invisible ring, and then she laughed.

"I've heard about them, yeah. Thank you for your suggestions."

Martha colored, and she fidgeted a bit when he asked about the ceremony. Bloody hell, why did he need to ask about the ceremony? Quickly she looked down and then tucked the scanner into her pocket.

"It's going to depend on where we are, I think. We're going to get married at our homes, so that'll affect it."

"Yes. When we go home, Severus will make a deal with the Admiral that allows him to still be alive and that everything will work out for that. We're also including the ability to switch between his world and mine every six months."

Merlin nudges his way into the infirmary a little after ten; he's taking much more care than usual with the leather bag habitually slung over his shoulder. He sees Martha not snowed under with work and gives her a wave and a smile.
