Ardent was a little unsure how this was going to go, but being given explicit instructions to keep someone out of his library rubbed him up the wrong way. That being said, he wanted Arthas out of his hair sooner rather than later, and actually half wanted to help him find whatever he'd lost.
He stepped out from behind his desk, "Arthas. What is it, exactly, you're looking for?"
"Hi. Sorry about the note, I was only taught the spoken language."
Frostmourne knew the runes. Frostmourne had let him teach the power in even a single letter of Dwarven and Titan runes to thousands of Death Knights, but that was neither here nor there.
"It's a ...snowglobe." He said the word grudgingly. It seemed undignified somehow. "Nygma stole it and hid it in here, I just want to find it before he can take it back."
He paused for a moment, mostly dismissing the subject of the note, as it wasn't that important, "One of those things you shake?" He nodded and frowned a little, "I see. Do you have any idea except 'in the library?'" Not that it mattered, as between them, they could do a decent amount of searching.

"If not, we can start in the less popular parts."

"It was from a friend." Short, but loaded. The object itself wasn't particularly important or he'd just replace it.
"No. Wherever you think it would be easy to hide something. I can get the higher shelves and you can get the lower ones, if you like."
The tone on that wasn't even a jab. Arthas stood head-and-shoulders over even most humans, it seemed like a logical step.
