Historically, Arthas and Books hadn't been the best of friends. Books were boring and they took too damn long to get to the point. Normally if he were looking for something in a library he'd just have burned it to the ground. Jaina would have hated it. Always with her nose in some old tome, even after he'd gone. He knew, he'd checked. He adjusted her locket, hidden under his collar. She would hate a lot about what he'd become. The thought wasn't disturbing at the moment. If weakness would get him killed and humiliated, then there would be none. He hadn't opened the locket since he'd retrieved it. He didn't want to see her picture.
The heavy double-doors to the library swung open easily and he made a mental note to throw the necklace overboard. There was work to do.
