[Chromie is poking around the entrance to the CES, trying to figure out what makes it go.

SHE IS NOT EXPECTING....

A FLASH HUG. *chord*]

[ The only warning she gets is a sudden breeze, and then he's behind her. ]

Hey! What was your name again?

[strangehstorian]

Oh!

[Surprised squeak.]

Chromie. Ah - what are you doing?

[Hug. Oh. That's what they're doing. OK. ♥]

[ The hug's a little awkward because of the height difference, but Wally doesn't care. It's hug day. Hugs for everyone. ]

I hope you have a great day, Chromie. Having trouble with the CES?

/falls over self in pure adoration

[ Wally is seemingly on a mission to hug every single person he runs into.

Eventually he'll have to stop for food, of course, but what's more important than hugs?

He stops on the stairs, just far enough away that the resulting displaced air won't knock the man down, and assesses the situation. Nope, he doesn't know this guy. ]

Hey! I'm afraid I didn't catch your name.

Yeah? I think that's a great idea. [ What is this strange new obsession with hugs? Wally doesn't care. He gives Irving a good squeeze before letting him go. ]

I hope you have a great day, Irving.

Vila didn't get out much, and that was hampering his ability to do what he wants. He can't get into the warden only levels. And he needs tools. So he's systematically searching the inmate accessible areas of the ship for a closet or something where he might find tools.

Opening every door that isn't obviously a cabin.

Wally catches him when he assumes the man must be going back to his room. He hesitates for a moment, wondering if he should just leave the man alone, but why not? Hugs are good for you. So he stops a little down the hall, so as not to freak the guy out or knock him over with displaced air, and smiles.

"Hey! I don't believe we've met."

[counturfingers]

Vila stumbles back a bit. Sheer surprise. "Uh, no. I'm Vila." He stands up tall like he wasn't doing anything suspicious. Why would he be?

Wally suspects nothing.

"I'm Wally. Wally West. And I'm going to hug you now." As soon as he says it, he's got the man in his arms. That's the thing about being the Flash. It's hard to stop him from hugging you.

[Drake was eating in the dining hall, when suddenly...there was a hug!]

Hey Drake.

[ Nope, not leaving. Just gonna keep hugging you. ]

Hey Wally.

[Drake then noticed they were hugging. Yes, he was hugging Wally back, though he didn't know why. He was more surprised than particularly bothered by it.]

Why are we hugging?

[ He shrugged into their hug, entirely unconcerned. ]

I dunno. It's just a huggy sort of day, I guess.

Dick was wandering around on deck, happy to get some fresh air after spending the last several hours wandering around checking in on everyone below deck. He was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans and generally just looked really relaxed, totally unsuspecting for whatever nefarious hugging that might come his way.

He didn't even stop for Dick. To be fair, he had forgotten all about his friend's fight with Slade and wasn't thinking about aching ribs at all, but it was certainly a friendly hug that came out of basically nowhere.

"Hey Dick!"

The gesture caught him completely off guard, and while yeah, it hurt a little - a lot, broken ribs sucked - after tensing for a moment out of surprise and pain, he pretty immediately reciprocated the gesture, sort of confused about what had inspired it.

"Hey!"

Wally gave him a little squeeze, totally oblivious, before letting him go.

"How you doing?"
