Late Morning: Infirmary notarrowette January 15 2011, 17:33:40 UTC
[Cissie's hanging around, visiting patients, trying to help out despite that dislocated shoulder, attempting to make herself useful... It's possible she needs to be kicked out.]

Late Morning: Infirmary, some time before Steph escapes for really real ichoosefight January 15 2011, 20:12:59 UTC
[ Stephanie doesn't even see Cissie when she comes in, but at some point she realizes that she's there. All the more reason for her to get out of here. She may not have intended for what happened with Sylar to hurt Cissie, but that doesn't change the fact that it happened, and in some respects is still happening. She doesn't care that Howie made her promise to walk with someone back to her room. She doesn't care that Roman could probably find her and follow her back to her room. She needs to be doing something. So when Cissie has her back turned, Steph tries to quickly pull herself out of bed and head to the door-- popping another stitch in the process. She's managed to roll out of bed, far enough to reach for her utility belt and ruined clothes folded neatly on a chair nearby, but that's about it. With nothing better to do, she tucks the utility belt under the bloody shirt and hopes that nobody really noticed it. ]

[Cissie might have her back turned when Steph gets up and rolls out of bed, but by the time she's moved to the chair and is pulling her shirt over her belt, Cissie's turned back around. She knew Steph was here, but the last thing she knew, she was unconscious--with good reason. And now she was sitting up and... was she thinking of leaving? Cissie briefly considers letting her, if only because it would be easier to continue avoiding her. While none of it was Steph's fault, she can't help feeling like she was passed over; like she's been compared to Stephanie and found lacking. Cissie knows she's being ridiculous, but she has a long history of being irrationally jealous. She's worked hard on taming those jealousy issues, but this Sylar thing is sorely testing them.

The problem with ignoring things is that Cissie's not very good at it, and right now, she's spotted the blood on Steph's shirt. She sighs to herself and goes over to her.] Steph? What are you doing?

[ At the moment, Steph is sitting back against her bed. This is the second stitch she's popped today. ]

Not escaping my doom, if that's what it looks like.

[Cissie's grabbed a random book and is trying to read. Bug her.]

[Molly's finally been released from the infirmary, and she's feeling a lot better. She tilts her head to the side to read the spine of the book Cissie's holding.]

Storm Front? Any good?

I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE notarrowette January 18 2011, 18:43:57 UTC
[Cissie looks up with a sheepish smile and hesitates--but Molly will want to know what the book is about eventually anyway, so she holds it out for her.]

There's a very sad lack of Carpenters so far, but--it's interesting? ...I couldn't help it when I saw it.

[Molly looks at the back and starts to laugh.]

There are books about my universe, too? That's insane. This--this is Harry. Back when I was a kid.

[Oh hi there, inmate. Your warden is knocking on your door.]

[Isaac...never expects anyone. Even wardens, these days, so Cissie will have to forgive his surprised expression when he opens the door. There's also wet paint on his hands, and no, he's not going to wash it off. Just wipe it off on his jeans.:|]

Uh--Hey. I wasn't expecting you.

[Cissie isn't surprised by his surprise, really. She knows she hasn't been very attentive or responsible as his warden so far, which is part of why she's here. ...Wiping wet paint on his jeans is a little endearing though. Oh, Isaac. She smiles a little.]

Hi. I know, sorry. ...Do you mind of I come in for a minute?

[Isaac shoots a glance over his shoulder before he answers. His room isn't necessarily messy, but it's definitely cluttered to the point where there isn't much room to walk. It's all canvases and two easels that he's "borrowed" from the art room. Really, he'll tidy it up eventually. After some slight hesitation, he opens the door wider and steps aside to let Cissie through. ]

You're more than welcome if you can find somewhere to stand or sit.

Evening: Dinner notarrowette January 15 2011, 17:38:52 UTC
[Cissie's found a spot to eat off in a corner. Doesn't she look like she needs pestering?]

Seeing Cissie off in the corner like that, Abigail decided that the young lady definitely needed a little pestering. She was on her break, needing a little time to herself and away from the kitchen. Balancing a plate of food with one hand and a cup of coffee in the other, a little notebook tucked underneath her arm so she could practice her letters, she headed on over to Cissie's table and sat down across from her. She managed not to spill or drop a single thing, which put a dumb grin on her face as she set herself up for dinner.

"Even'n'."

It was hard to be annoyed at being pestered by someone wearing a smile like that. It was also hard not to smile back, so Cissie did, even managing to sit up a little and make an effort to not appear as anti-social as she'd been feeling.

"Hello. How're you?"

"Oh, I'm just peachy. Just little tired of choppin' up chilies, but otherwise can't complain." Abigail eyed Cissie and her chopped-off hair as she set out her notebook and a pencil, her grin being replaced by a soft, knowing kind of smile.

"And before you think it, I ain't forgettin' my manners by not askin' you how you're doin'. I can tell you ain't havin' the best week, so I thought I didn't really need to ask anyways."

Night: Deck notarrowette January 15 2011, 17:40:57 UTC
[And now Cissie's up on the deck, brooding. ...Did I say brooding? I meant star-gazing. Definitely star-gazing. Certainly not fixating on the spots where Team Bravefail lost their heads or all those sacrifices happened last week, no way.]

[Adric was looking up at the stars as well.] I don't even know what universe those stars are from. I don't recognize any of the patterns, not from E-Space or N-Space.

[Cissie was so caught up in her own thoughts she hadn't even noticed Adric was nearby. She was startled when he spoke, but covered it quickly, glancing at him. ...Astronomy is not really her strong suit.] ...E-Space or N-Space?

E-Space is the universe I'm from. N-Space is the universe with Earth and Gallifrey, and I was in that universe for a couple years.
