ACTUAL RIOT THREAD. (keep prep stuff elsewhere please?)buywithmeJanuary 14 2010, 23:19:32 UTC
Prefect clicked open his wardens gun, checking the ammunition, before snapping it closed again and hefting it, a little uneasily in his palm. It wasn't so much for him, that he didn't expect any of the wardens to surrender, more that he didn't want any of them to surrender. Not until they'd bled a little at least.
It was possible, he supposed, that the barge had changed him somewhat. For all his noble words and good intentions, there was a big piece of him that didn't care so much about change anymore, as it did about revenge.
Still, the ends justified the motive. He readied the gun, and waited.
Ushas was unarmed save for her bag of tricks, most of which were of the stunning and non-lethal kind. There were a few nasty surprises in there, but she would have strongly preferred not to use them.
Well. Possibly with one or two exceptions, named Ace and Lord Doctor. If they presented her with no other choice.
The banging on the barricaded doors was getting louder and louder. Ushas could have sworn she heard a creak. Her grip tightened on the aerosol can in her hand-which, this time, was not antiseptic.
Namor began to pace in anticipation of the upcoming battle. He had no weapon, but he suspected he could survive for some time without one. At least until he was able to disarm a warden. He'd have to move quickly, though, he'd have to be prepared...and he was. He was almost eager, and he itched to go into action after so much time of being cooped up, but also after the injustices he'd seen in just a few days. There were a few he wished to ensure would die. Kirk and Sexby, the two who brutalized women, for while he knew they would return to normal, that simply meant he had a time limit. He had to bring his revenge before this flood would end, so that the men those two had become would feel the pain
( ... )
Logan hadn't known the inmates were planning anything until it was already happening. By now he was used to being the nice kid that nobody kept in the loop, and he knew he couldn't fight and didn't have any weapons, but he wanted to help.
So he'd rushed to the dining hall as soon as he'd seen Prefect's announcement to help fortify. Now he was fidgeting impatiently with a broken chair leg - the only makeshift weapon he'd been able to find.
There was no way this could end well for him - even if the inmates succeeded he'd probably be beaten to a bloody pulp. But it was completely worth it, because finally he was doing something right instead of keeping his head down.
