Claudia peeped out from her door, curious at the sound of music in the hallway. She watched with odd fascination as a man there looked into rooms as he passed, not yet to her own yet (he was on the other side). A stranger, like the odd-tasting Susan had been, but an unusual one. There was something in his walk that was decidedly not human -- something a human eye couldn't detect.

"What are you doing?" she asked, immediately adopting a younger tone.

"Hmm?" he looked at the girl and casually walked up to her. Something was off about her...something. Right vampires. But this one was so young. Poor thing. He crouched down to her level.

"Just exploring the halls, learning my surroundings. Are you on this floor?"

She stepped further behind her own door shyly, still watching him with interest, but she would have been stupid not to use caution. Not everyone was as kind as they pretended to be.

"Are you?" she asked.

"Nope! Level one for me!" He stood up and tilted his head towards the small child- maybe some vampires aren't so bad. She was rather innocent looking. Of course, a vampire's a vampire no matter how you look at it. Still, he didn't want her to be afraid of him.

"Don't be scared, I'm one of the wardens here. I'm the Doctor, and your name?"
