Sorry it took so long, I've been slammed all day. thegooddrjones November 16 2009, 04:51:45 UTC
It may not have been a surprise for Rose, but it certainly was one for Martha, though in retrospect, it certainly shouldn't be. The Doctor had been different since she had arrived, and before she guessed. No, before the Master had confirmed. Ever since he had mentioned it, Martha had been picturing it in her head. A finger wag. A finger wag after the Master had killed Rose. Rose who she had lived in the shadow of for all that time, Rose whom she had been convinced the Doctor was in love with ( ... )

Some flowers caught her eye and she could recall how she’d always make excuses for him at first. The Master had gotten to him somehow, locked him away. Martha sighed a bit and looked around the forest. After a moment's pause, she reached over and hugged Rose quickly. She felt like she needed a familiar hug, and while she knew that it wasn't the same Rose she had hugged... Martha was willing to bed that a hug was needed anyway. "Sorry," she said as she pulled away. "Guess I just got used to the hugging ( ... )

“Yeah, I can understand that.” Rose said giving the other woman a small smile and then glancing up at the sky. It was funny to her about the mention of stars since she really hadn’t seen many back in that parallel universe. They were mostly fading one by one instead of coming out but here it was entirely different. At least it was one constant. And then was the sudden hug which caught the blonde a bit off guard but really she needed it. She hadn’t really gotten one in such a long time ( ... )
