Frank stilled; he really had nowhere to go except where the Cenobites weren't, nothing to do except wait until they gave up the search and satisfied themselves with the other denizens of this place. In the meantime, he had to play to role, and he had seen through the mirrors a little of what his current skin had shared with this man.
The Marquis looked around briefly, hearing nothing in the halls above or below, and took a few steps down toward Pavi. He paused, however, realizing very quickly an incongruity. "Has something happened? Did the Doctor let you out of your cell?" Only as he was asking it did he realize the way Pavi referred to him was strange. He was shaken, perhaps even a little unhappy with him since their last conversation.
Frank nodded, affecting Pavi's high lilt. "Mm. I was released. With these things that are happening, the doctor thought it best if I was not...trapped and helpless, si?" He moved closer. "It is better this way."
"And your first notion was to wander the halls?" he asked, a little annoyed. Sometimes the young Italian had no sense whatsoever. The Marquis stepped past him. "Come with me. We are going to find the Abbe and then we'll find a safe place to hole up."

He inclined his head. "Marquis."
