I know how much of a pain RL can be at hogging all of your time on occassion, so no worries about the partial fic - this actually was exactly the sort of thing I was expecting, Gabriel comforting an ailing Sam and trying to resolve his own issues in the process...the fact that there's more to come is icing on the cake!
I love how Sam's reactions affect Gabe, and how determined he is to help the hunter despite his reservations :-) I can't wait to read some of their interaction as Sam becomes more lucid, and maybe some Sam POV on Gabriel's new allegiance? *grins*
I have my fingers crossed that RL will allow you to update soon! Make sure and post a link over at Sabriel when you do :-D
