There was a faint sound coming from inside the dojo. At first, it was just one booming noise echoing from the depths of the wooden structure. Then the sound split into two- two continuous thumps rushing towards the front door. Said door flew open with a bang as a green-clad man leapt out. "YOOOOSHHHA! I am here, my Youthful student!"

The man had his usual track pants on, but his top was replaced with a shirt. There was an American man doing the thumbs up on it.

Spotting his student, he started running towards him, arms outstretched. "Lee!"

Lee had turned around as soon as he heard the door bang open, a wide grin on his face. He grinned brightly at his teacher's greeting, matching it with his own enthusiastic reply.

"Gai-sensei!!" And thus a Youthful, manly hug between student and tacher was had. If one looked hard enough they might just be able to imagine the dramatic waves that should be crashing behind them.

With trays of coffee cups filled to the brim with very distinctive but popular blends of coffee and tea in her hands, Tenten made her way down the street towards the dojo where Lee had said to meet. The heat from the cups were beginning to burn through the cardboard, although it was a nice reprieve from the bags of pastry goods that had started to cut into her arms. It was nothing she was not accustomed to, being a waitress at said cafe, although it was still very much annoying. But she had promised Lee that she would bring them, and the dojo wasn't much further. In fact, Tenten could already see the Japanese styled roof and hear the usual greetings between sensei and student from down the block, a smile instantly threatening to break free from the even line of her lips

Releasing his student from his hold, Gai turned to the woman who arrived. As always, he couldn't help applauding the way she balanced so many things. He was proud of his student Tenten! The strength in her arms as she carried the trays was impressive, but he quickly came to her side to take the tray from her arms

There was no specific plan between him and his siblings. Gaara had already gotten confirmation from his sister that she'd attend the picnic, but he hadn't been able to find her at her dorm. He resolved to texting her about meeting at the venue for the picnic instead. As for his brother, he wasn't sure if he was coming at all

"Yeah," she replied to both their questions, giving a light chuckle as said kitten hopped behind her feet for a brief moment before curiosity got the better of her, "This is Itoshii Fishcake."

Provisionary burdens taken care of, Tenten smoothed out the wrinkles in her shirt and took a moment to glance down at little Itoshii, still sticking close to the shadows of her feet, but very much preoccupied elsewhere. It was a good thing though, the young woman noted as the little kitten seemed especially interested in pawing at the plastic tip of Gai's shoelace. Cats were known to be proud and independent creatures for the most part. But being trapped in the storm where she had been found had its lingering effects on Itoshii, although not notably so, as was made apparent in the way the small creature would still make a point to remain near Tenten's feel despite poking about the yard in front of the dojo. It was not much, but at least it was a start. And Tenten could not ask for more than that
