*Finally changed into dry clothes and hanging the last of his sopping wet outfit in front of the fire to dry, Adam flops onto the couch. He smiles the smile of the well and truly happily tired.*

*Adam's tired. Very tired. And so when they head back to the room, coffee having been consumed, he flops down on the bed and yawns.*

I might as well just go out with you when you go to train. C'n never get back to sleep anyway.

*Adam's by the lake. He doesn't seem to notice he's sitting in the snow, and if he notices, he doesn't care. He's halfheartedly skipping stones across the water, not waiting to see if they sink or skip. His cheeks are wet, and his arms are pulled up around his knees. *They're sweaty, they're tired, and there are plenty of bruises to go around. But once they've settled and caught their breaths, it seems that they're a little less stressed.

Adam leans back against the sofa, wrapping an arm around Alanna's shoulder.*

*By the time they crawl back to the tent provided to them, the sun's nearly crested the dune. Adam is nearly stumbling over his own feet, but the smile just won't leave his face as he flops to the floor and ignores the call of the bedroll for the feel of Alanna in his arms.*

*Adam's anxious, though he wouldn't be able to tell you why. There's a fire going in the fireplace, and he's spread out on the couch, but he can't keep still. His foot taps, his hands wring, and his lip is getting quite the workout as he gnaws on it.*
