Transportation has been a bit rubbish this week.

Having ridden Metra yesterday, I am not entirely sure I want that to be my daily commute. I probably ought to cut them some slack, seeing as, you know, we had tornado watches and severe thunderstorm warnings in all possible directions, but really. At the book fair they were handing out a bunch of paper fans of the giant freakin' eye.

I find the giant freakin' eye rather intimidating, I'm not gonna lie. That thing could eat me in one gulp and have plenty of room left over for twenty of my friends.

...Which, if not for the eating bit, could turn into quite a bit of fun, but that is not the point.

It just goes to show that I am often appallingly ignorant of events in the city that I have chosen for my home.

Wow, Chicago's public transportation sounds...like DC's public transportation. Meaning, I feel for you.

I have to say I have never seen a giant eyeball from DC's metro though. Yeah, that would freak me out just a bit.
