I noticed all our strawberry carts and trucks were out on the expected corners this weekend. :) my area is known for its strawberries so it is a very high possibility you got yours from here. We're rather spoiled to have so much fresh produce since things grow so well here.

om nom nom nom! I love them. Spring and summer bring me so many tasty tasty foods that I can eat fresh and almost as cheap as the crappy winter food. *glory*

well it depends. :) lots of people would rather not live here despite the weather and access to great locales and food. but I think you'd like it. ^_^

The nice thing about Chicago is that practically everything coming from one coast to another goes through here, so we have produce and seafood and such out the wazoo that's as good as you're going to get without being in the relevant city. And, seriously, we have restaurants of every possible stripe. Even our BARS have good food.

The earthquakes would freak me out. I know we get them up here, too, but not the way y'all do!
