Sunday evening post is...mostly about video games.
I have strawberries. They are so sweet as to not actually need sugar. (I say this as someone with a relentless sweet tooth.) om nom nom nom. Springtime, I love you. ♥
I have done...very little of use this weekend. I made two gallons of iced tea (one caffeinated, one decaf), and I cleaned out the ancient and quite icky food in the fridge and washed all of those dishes. I had a wrenbow yesterday, and we found a delicious Middle Eastern take-out place. (I got a gyros and shawerma combo for $10. That made two meals for me. Also pita chips that were fried while I waited and om nom nom nom hummus. Also? Best customer service at a take-out place ever. The guy at the counter was incredibly friendly, offered us a couple of discounts, and just all in all it was a very pleasant experience.) Although my stomach is kind of upset today. I can't tell if that's because I skipped breakfast or because the food is not agreeing with me. Sigh.
We came home and hung out and I have mostly spent this weekend playing Magna Carta 2. I started the weekend in Cota Mare for the first time and now am in Belfort. I think I am pretty much over this game now, sadly. I'll finish it, because I flipped ahead in the walkthrough and I really haven't far to go, but it's not really doing it for me, for whatever reason. *shrug* Ah well. I have oodles of other unbeaten games.
(I think part of my problem with video games right now is that everything I am playing sort of feels like a grind right now. I'm in Carina Sector for Strange Journey--fuck running around in the dark!--and Muramasa, while delightfully fun, is also action-y and therefore stressful to me. FF13 is at this point just a long grind for achievements if I even decide to finish the few I was aiming for. MC2 has become the Endless Sidequest, kind of like Last Remnant did, and I guess I'm just not that invested in it. And Crisis Core is fun, but I've been away from it for long enough that I kind of am ambivalent about going back to it right now. Siiiiigh.)

...I didn't think I was in a bad mood until I started typing, but apparently I am snarly cat tonight. Clearly, this calls for chocolate. And a trashy novel.
