So I spent the day today with Chris M, whom I have not seen in person since he left NU four and a half years ago, and it was really awesome. We hung out, played Persona 4, talked about video games and anime and tabletop gaming, and generally had a great time. Geez, how can you mention the trip to Gekkoukan and NOT "The Game" dungeon??? I thought that part was wicked sweet. The boy detective twist also came out of nowhere and was pretty well done; I had immediately thought of the other twist though, about the loser only killing King Moron ( ... )

Yeah, I'm keeping Black Frost around for a good long time because he is made of epic awesome. I have somebody else who's also bad-ass but I can't remember who. How high a level do you have to be to finish out Empress? I'm starting to get a little frustrated because I see all these totally sweet Personae and can't fuse them. Woez.

The Game dungeon was totally awesome, but I had basically completed all of it before yesterday, so I kind of forgot to talk about it. I got through the boss with only 2 shots of Megido. Unfortunately my black Frost was not high enough for Agidyne, but we muddled through on Mind Charge and Bufula. I need more $$$ though. MORE MONEYS PLZ. I think soon I can re-visit the Game, though, and I'll grind for some XP and fuse me some tasty Personae.

Empress is a bitch to finish because the finish fusion is the pentagram one, which is around level 76. I just finished the dungeon after the game, and I'm only in the high 50s.

Speaking of that dungeon, you might want to wait until that one until you start grinding for money. The money is juiced up a bit - After a pass through that dungeon, I had all the money I needed, and then some, for equipment upgrades. The enemies also seemed easier than The Game, because your friends' Personas start to get bad ass.

Also, I think you're using a guide, but I'm not sure if it mentions that at Level 10, all your s. links inherit their "ultimate" Personas. I have Yosuke's, and it's ridiculously overpowered. It negates his weakness and nulls wind, and I'm pretty sure he gets a magic boost. Yukiko has a similar boost, although unfortunately her's doesn't negate her ice weakness.

Yeah, it does mention. I love that the persona evolution is tied to S.Link maturity.

I'm kind of holding off on maxing Yukiko because I really want to see all the possible "serious relationship" options (except Chie, I have no interest in hers) but ultimately I think I want to have Yukiko as my girlfriend. Woe.
