sketchy ads and general mumblings

So I have been seeing advertisements on CTA buses recently that are very creepy.  They are for an organization called the Rainbow Hospice.  One is a photo of a gray squishy chair and a purple hassock, with the caption "Get comfortable with death."  The other is of a stack of blankets, topped by a purple one, with the caption "You started life with ( Read more... )

One more day. You will do OK. Those wraps are supposed to slow you down. It is the speed and the fact that you do not have proper support that are causing you the pain in the first place. One of the disadvantages of learning proper keyboarding.

I'm probably still typing around 100 wpm (rather than my usual 130) but what bugs me more than the speed is the effect it's having on my accuracy, which has gone from 97% to around 90%. It's incredibly annoying to have to backtrack that much.

I am a typical hunt and pecker (all jokes are welcome :) ) I hit the high 90 for speed but I hit backspace about 1 for every 3 words. I am probably closer to 150 if I didn't make mistakes. But I seem to thrive off of the spell checker.

Yeah...I learnt to type fast years ago and I tend to scare people who aren't used to me when they see me type.
