Right, so, I'm in Maine. We arrived here around 10 pm on Saturday and schlepped all our stuff in. The chalet we're staying in is incredible, it really is. I understand your mother, because when I went to maine, I saw my paternal grandmother, and she had to go to EVERY store, it was annoying. And when we went into other towns, oh, she had to check every antique store. She also had an annoying habit of insisting everything had to be "just so", she made a commotion because some restaurant had the audacity to have outdoor seating at tables that ARE NOT WOODEN. She wanted a wooden table. The thing is she sees postcards or some magazine and insists it's the truth! Did you by any chance pass Camden? It's quite nice. The Library is bigger on the inside than the outside, and there's a street that branches off from the main street that has an ice cream shop with the best ice cream in the world. Seriously!
Happy Birthday, belatedly, Meglet! *hugs*
See ya,
Sebastian

Not as good as Crabcakes N Candycorn though.
But right up there. :)
My mother and sister are the same way as your family.
I only go shopping with my mother once every three years.
I'm not a browsing person.
I know what I want.
I glance a shop over and if I don't see it right away I move on. :D
