When I went to Rosemont for the Final Fantasy concert, it just happen to lightly snow afterwards which was really beautiful underneath all the lights. But I also did have a similar experience as you did by the Museum/Soilder Field area except it was sunrise and not a sunset. But then, being the kid from a place called Iowa, I was also amazed at the traffic ;) Thankfully, I was not at the wheel. Then upon missing the exit to 290 Westbound (ironically , there was one sign and by the time we read that, the whole left lanes were full of calls for two blocks!) we just sorta got lost going north, lol... But I was quite amazed at the beauty of Lake Michigan. ...And isn't Hwy 41 (Lake Shore Drive) 45mph ;) None of my business if you speed or not, but I was just curious ;) Glad to see someone such as yourself taking a liking to nature. Hope you do indeed get to experience the sunset while perhaps reading a good book and enjoying a nice beverage.

Yes, it is 45 mph. I was driving in sync with the other traffic. Also I have a personal rule of no more than 10 over the speed limit.

I love nature (though I hate bugs and stingy things and crawlies). I just like pretty things =)

You rule so hard. Knowing how to appreciate true beauty is hot. So is agreeing that Wal-Mart sucks, and even cooler, you managed to bust out the term "Goat Rodeo", which is entirely true.

Go Meglets.

On another note, I often go for drives to clear my head. Gas isn't insanely expensive here (2.49, last I checked) so I can afford to go on little midnight cruises to clear my head. Especially in the rain, are those nice...Hell, I may go on one now.

Anyhoot.

Yes, or in my case, drive 200 miles and coming back to where your parents are wondering why the hell you blew most of the gas money on a "pointless trip". (Actually the last one was mostly MY money this time around...)

But then, I was excited to see the new 70mph signs afoot in Iowa, and wanted to see if they indeed existed all the way to Davenport.

The little things...

Do you know this one? I haven't heard it in a while (though I have it on CD somewhere; in fact, it was the very first song I ever played, when I got my first CD player, back when they cost an arm and a leg ( ... )

Hmmm, not familiar with it.

I do recall the first time i Heard it referred to as LSD. I was driving with Blue Guy and he was talking to someone on the phone and I heard "Yeah, Meg and I are on LSD" and my brain picked the wrong LSD to associate initially and I was like "WTF? When did I do drugs?" and then my logic-brain caught up with my association-brain and I felt really stupid =)
