good to see you survived. ^_^

I've been doing more activity too - being an engineer kinda sucks activity right out of you. I've been hitting the gym in my workplace building each of the days I am here, plus a walk everyday with kidlet in the stroller and both dogs. The walk is approx 1.7 miles around the neighborhood so I'm trying to see if I can step it up to round out 2miles. I have jogged it off and on too but it can be too difficult with dogs wanting to stop to pee/poop/sniff etc... x_x I've been using an app I saw a friend mention on facebook (myfitnesspal.com) and it is pretty nifty for watching calorie intake and tracking exercise/food. Only have been using it for like three weeks but it certainly is making me more aware of amount of food.

I looked at myfitnesspal but the ToS sent me screaming for the hills. I ended up going with LoseIt!, which is less comprehensive but also doesn't claim ownership of my device while I'm using it, so there's that.

Yep! I have been doing pretty well with LoseIt, if only because it makes me think about what I'm eating; my goal is to treat the calorie goal as a really good point, but I give myself up to 700 or so calories' flex in a given week because the point of this is not to hate myself and my body.
