It's not often you get the excuse to use a word like EFFULGENT

I haven't been the best about doing things for my landcomms lately but I did much better this last weekend and even PLACED in voting! That almost never happens!

I tied for second place at wlreunion with my Magnetic Poetry poem.

I'd write a huge review about you're wording, sentence structure, and imaging... But I suck with description and words...

Sooo. Does a verbal 'oh, those are all bloody brilliant.' count?

Thanks! *grin* Who knew that writing so much sappy poetry to my crushes in junior high would pay off someday?

Wow, that's beautiful. In a weird way it reminds me of Spanish poetry? (Hmmm... if only I could remember my mad skills at analysis, but I haven't taken an English class since high school) Anyway, it was good on the sounding level and on the meaning level.

Thanks! Once I learned about ABCB, I've never looked back! There was a challenge last year that was a different sort of poetry that might have been Spanish. I'll have to hunt that up!

What is that really called? Um... Rhyming pentameter? If you give each line a designation (first line A, second line B) based on what the ending rhyme is. The second and fourth lines have the same rhyme. It's one of the easiest poems to do. I've never learned the others well enough to emulate them.

And I bob my head up and down to the beat in my head like a loon and scratch out words until I get close to the right beat.

Oh, wow... I absolutely love the long poem! Gorgeous imagery and duality, and meaning. <3

Also, thinking about poetry is weirdly enough giving me Clintasha feels, and I have no idea why. o__O

Thanks! I had a sort of Rose Red/Snow White vibe going when I wrote it.

It's probably giving you the feels because we're coming off a Promptathon and those ALWAYS seem to give me poetry/song feels since they're so full of poetry/song goodness!
