It's cool to see these characters get some attention. Rare ships can be tricky, but the whole situation looks believable to me. :-)

I've started what is supposed to be a longer story with their backstory (although the characters are nothing like they are in this drabble) but it just hasn't happened. I just needed a couple to write about so I thought I'd put them in this situation this week. *grins*

It's in the back of my mind. I'll have to dust it off and see if I can get further than the first chapter which is here and I'd like to follow this plot line because it's some of the most interesting that I've thought of in a long time... if I can find the words to get to the INTERESTING parts. *grins*
