“Where is he?” Tonks stormed into the tiny cottage, her eyes wild with anger. As Fleur and Bill watched in silent fascination, the woman began to look behind chairs and in cupboards for what they could only assume was her errant lover.

Bill decided to take the brunt of this frantic energy, pushing his wife out the front door. “Keep her away from the sideboard,” Fluer whispered before she fled to the beach below the house.

Now it was just the two of them, an angry woman and a confused man. But wasn’t that how all good arguments came to an end? Bill took a deep breath. “Why are you looking for Charlie here?”

She was looking through the basket of yarn, as if such a large man could fit in Fleur’s craft area, let alone amoung her coloured threads. “I saw his dragon flying this way.”

“Was Charlie on the dragon?” The glare she shot at him was his only answer. Time to rethink the direction this questioning was going in or he was going to find himself fleeing the scene like his wife. “What did my brother do?”

“He had the audacity-“ but she got no further as the unmistakable swoosh of wings came from overhead. With only a deep-throated growl to explain herself, Tonks flung herself out of the room. There was the inevitable sounds of an argument before the dragon lifted off again.

Even though no one was round on this blustery day, he could only hope his brother remembered to keep the large animal screened against the Muggles who might be in the area. But even more than that, he hoped that Charlie did what he could to solve this crisis because he didn’t want his brother sleeping in the front room yet again. He was getting tired of being Charlie’s safe zone. They weren’t thirteen anymore. They were adults with responsibilities after all.

Bearing that in mind, Bill made sure to straighten the house before calling Fleur back. The last place he wanted to end up tonight was his brother’s house.
