Gas Shortages Suck

And I don't even have a car. But it is impacting this whole city and I feel bad asking people for rides. I swear people have gone crazy. Can you imagine waiting an hour and a half to get gas? And some stations are rationing it so that people can only get 5 gallons

Ok, between this and the Nashville shortage this is freaking me out, and the media is barely reporting on it. I really hope this is just Ike issues, not a sign of a larger problem.

It is just the lack of fuel in the pipeline that comes from Galveston. And enough clean fuel here. They are saying the situation will be fixed by next week, and within the month at the latest.

People are still able to get gas though. Life, though not back to normal, is still generally normal enough. It is simply that people are more cognizant of their trips and how much they use their cars. So no superflous trips. So not all bad. I'd just hate to be in sales. Of course we did have a particularly dead week at the clinic, and more than one mentioned the gas situation.
