whheee!
i'm sitting at the local cafe, just typing away on my new laptop and on the internet! i even picked up a little disk drive usb thingie (yes, that's the technical term) so i can write/save-on-floppy-because-i-don't-know-anything-else but i haven't installed it yet.

hitting the snooze button for nearly an hour and a half rather defeats the purpose of getting up at a reasonable hour...

after over 6 hours in and out of the vet's which is an hour away...it's lovely to be home, and with our dog, too. my lovely husband has built me a fire and lit all the candles so i can just sit and rest for a little while and read a good book ( Read more... )

got the orca spring catalogue yesterday....with my novel in it.
i was so pleased and excited i made myself nauseous and my husband had to sit me down and give me tension tamer tea. *grin*

starting the process of looking for an agent. trying to figure out who my favourite writers use (charles de lint, tanya huff, terri windling...). i've also picked up the guide to literary agents.
