Alma 1:33 "...they became more still, and durst not commit any wickedness..." (emphasis added) In German the word is "friedlicher" which can be translated as "still," but also means "peaceful."
Alma 32:28 "...it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, yeah, it beginneth to be delicious to me." The word in German is "köstlich," which is often translated as "prescious," though when referring to food means "exquisite."
Again, it's mostly to keep my German from deteriorating, but I find it interesting how it can shed a little light on how an English word is being used as well.
I love questions, they give me purpose!
