I have two and a half horses to go. Got all the big ones except one foot on Zeke as he turned up with an abscess and was too sore to stand on the other foot. The good news is it appears to be resolving and I should be able to get his other foot. Just have Chewy's front feet and Kitt and Tru-D to go, so all the "little" ones and there you have it

you are a determined young filly! horses sound like a lot of work
do you listen to classics while you care for the horses?
that would be cool
i wonder what the horses think of it, if they understand the stories

I got into an audible subscription under the "month free" guise with the intent to cancel it and then it took me three months to figure out how to pause and then cancel it so I'm using the credits. I started with the collected works of Jane Austen and then "12 Books to Read Before You Die" Volumes one and two. I've been listening to them while feeding and when I work horses and not teaching. I use earbuds so the horses aren't hearing what I am, I know before I got the buds the horses seemed to enjoy some of the music I listened to more than others.

That's a lot to save. How much does it generally cost there for a trim?

It varies, but 40-65 is typical for a normal sized horses now. I now have eight head and half of them are decidedly not small.

Not one bit! Sometimes I forget how big they are, though.
