Maki sounds like a total pill. I can see why you charged her for that. She sounds like a horse you don't want to forget your gloves with.

I made it very clear before they picked up Maki and Kreeli that I didn't have time to train their horses for free. I did offer half rate of my normal fee, which I think is pretty generous, but I can't do it for free.

In Maki's defense her first year she was 100% feral and then she pretty much only saw humans to be shoved in a trailer and hauled thousands (FL to AZ) or hundreds (Snowflake to Queen Creek) of miles to a nee place. She was good for her shots and the farrier, but she doesn't really know how to allow herself to be caught yet and until the other day leading was not in her skillset. She's not maliscious, but she is stout and still needs to learn how to give to pressure and humans do have good ideas. Hopefully by the time she is three next year she'll be much easier to get along with!
