I have been slacked off on my Russian study since Tristan went back to school. However, I ordered a hymnal, Bible, and triple combination in Russian to help remedy that. I need to get myself a good Russian dictionary next (I probably have five German ones ( Read more... )

This seems like a job for YouTube. Have you looked to see if these hymns are on there? Might help if you heard them and could sing along. We would sing hymns in my Russian class at BYU-I.

I haven't looked yet. I'm almost done matching up the songs so that is probably the next step so I can work on my pronunciation. I think it's great practice and I know music helped me learn German.

I thoroughly enjoy singing in German when I can and I am secretly excited to sing the ones in Russian that aren't in German.
