Olaf had yesterday off to help ease him into work. Tuesday he eyeballed the cart pretty hard when I brought it up, but eventually settled and I was able to bring it right up next to him. We went to work with the tire before calling it a day

And as a four year-old she was all that and a bag of chips. She did a canter pirouette on me once and another time she did a levade when she didn't quite want to go forward (canter smaller and smaller until she just "sat" on her haunches), what an "evasion!" I told her to keep those tucked away, we'd be using them later.
Then she went off her feed. Her pulse rate was high, she had a fever. We took her to a clinic and she was diagnosed with heart failure. Possibly viral, they also asked about contaminated feed too (there is a cattle antibiotic that can cause it). Friesians have also been linked to heart issues, but they didn't think it was congenital.
In short it sucked as until she went off her feed there was no sign.
