Olaf had yesterday off to help ease him into work. Tuesday he eyeballed the cart pretty hard when I brought it up, but eventually settled and I was able to bring it right up next to him. We went to work with the tire before calling it a day.
Today I brought out the cart again and he stood much better. I rubbed the shafts on him and even brought them up and over either side. From there I harnessed him and brought up the false shafts we built yestersay. I guess I should have made them a little wider, but it worked well until the cross piece popped off. I may or may not cut a larger cross piece and try the roller again, but I may stick with my single pvc pipes. It was a bit of a bugger to get in the shaft loops as it didn't hold itself up since we didn't glue the cross piece together.
After dragging the false shafts I got the blind bridle on with one of the other bits to try. He was a little concerned at first, but then settled into work before I hooked him to the tire. I was able to shoot a couple short clips.

Tomorrow I will harness him before bringing out the cart again and let him get used to it and the false shafts coming up with the blind bridle. I also need to refresh our lateral yields from pressure, probably first with the rope and then the shafts.
