He stepped off the landing dock runway slowly, his face expressionless. He was dressed lightly in khaki cargo shorts and my favorite red t-shirt and carried with him only a duffel bag and a backpack over his shoulder. He made his way over through the small crowd and stood before me, set his things on the floor and wrapped me up in a tight hug.
