Seperation Anxiety

This was becoming madness. No sooner did we think that we might have a hold on things then that demon had to come and pretty much tell us we were screwed even more now for trying. We had nothing left really. Plus there were less of us now. I wasn't sure where everyone ended up but I knew I wasn't with the group that was for sure. I couldn't see the ( Read more... )

I turned my head when I heard a shrill whistle sound. A tall blonde woman had joined us... I remembered seeing her the first time we all went to the resort. What was her name? Anna? Anya? I think it was Anya. Something like that. I glared at the red-headed vampire one last time before looking up to hear what Anya had to say.

"Look there is a lot going on here at once. I know there are some caves inland. If one or two of you want to go looking for them the rest of us should try and gather up whatever we can so that if the weather drops we don't have to worry about it. I think food and wood for a fire should be priorities. How we get the fire to work I think we will just have to sort out, unless anyone here has a lighter?"Finally. Cordy and Fred might have agreed with me about shelter and food being priorities, but then we all got sidetracked when the vampire entered the picture. They didn't want me going alone, even though I was more than capable of taking care of myself. Maybe Anya wouldn't let worry or sentiment cloud her senses ( ... )

"I think that's the truest thing you've ever said. Not that you're not true all the time or anything."

"Oh," I tried to brush off Buffy's compliment, for once a little awkward with praise. "I've said a few fibs in my day, though most of them were to Xander. And yes," I agreed before she asked. "I was probally under the age of ten at the time too."

But I did try, and maybe that's what Buffy meant. Suddenly I wanted to know what happened again, with Graduation. All the important things -- if we stopped the Mayor, if we lived through the doing of it, and if my diploma came out all right. And I realised I was sitting next to just the person who could answer all my questions. I smiled brightly at Buffy.

"God, the suckage factor here is totally going through the roof. There's gotta be something we can do.""Well, it's not like we haven't tried," I tried to explain, not sure how to make the summary short and understandable. "Nothing has just really worked so far. But you're right about the suckage. One too many vampires, and not enough ( ... )

"Well, it's not like we haven't tried, Nothing has just really worked so far. But you're right about the suckage. One too many vampires, and not enough stakes around here for my liking."

Maybe we'd just have to see about takin' care of that little sitch. Man, these people were fuckin' idiots. There was trees right? You could find a stake anywhere you looked.

Can we skip the small talk and make with the skinny dippin' here?

She looked like she was 'bout to give in to my suggestion when somebody decided to fuck with my plans with a loud ass whistle and started talkin' all loud.

I turned my attention towards the group of people comin' our way.

Fuck. So much for my little private party.

The leader of this rain on my parade was that chick Anya (?) that was hooked up with Xander. Well, at least were I came from. Not so sure about this place.

"I'll stick with Willow. You know, in case there's any danger or whatever. Plus, I just kinda got here, so, she's been filling me in."

"Good for you. You do that."

Why do we have another Buffy? The first one was enough. The way she was hanging all over Angelus with her slut on made me want to rally to get her voted off of the island. I figured that their disappearance had to be some kind of gift to me and my fellow castaways ( ... )
