Waking up

My eyes yawned awake this morning at around 5:00 with a few tentative blinks. A sudden sense of urgency washed my face and made me start. Then, I realized where I was: home. I saw the shadowed ceiling and the model ships along the walls. Turning on my light, I read bit and eventually went back to bed

I love listening to the morning noises, or lack there of as the case may be. It's my favorite way to start the day.
