I played 15 minutes into FFIII and I already have my airship.

Not always. Final Fantasy II was actually harder and grimmer than Final Fantasy III.

People are often surprised to learn that I've never really been much of a gamer. I wish I could get myself more interested in gaming, but it never seems to happen.

I don't expect it to be for everyone, though it may just come down to genre. I hate FPSs, for one, which sucks because a lot of them seem to have really great stories (Halo, Bioshock). I can deal with Portal only because there's not really a lot of gunplay.
