Language Barriers

I keep finding things that should be put into my LibraryThing account, but unfortunately there are language barriers from recording these things properly. The only other language besides English that I read is Spanish, and er, that uses the same alphabet

The first one is "Hyaku man nen pikunikku," or "1,000,000 year picnic."

Cardcaptor Sakura was the first full manga translated into Hebrew.

You're right about the Incredibles too. The font is a dead give away.

In the 3rd on, the first word means hero or warrior. Not sure about the whole thing yet.

The last one says "In English, Segal Geffen." Geffen usually means a grape vine, but here it might be someone's name.

I think it is the author's name, which is why I put it down (since I want to put that in the catalog entry too).

I'm really curious about the actual *name* of the storybook (the third one you just mentioned). If it helps, the book only adapts the final battle versus the robot from the movie (the one in the city).

Actually, it's "from English". Geffen is likely the person who translated it to Hebrew.

The two japanese titles are:

Thank you so much. Are you just good with Japanese (you know, I have no idea if you could speak it or not)?

Nah. I got this crazy notion a couple of years ago to try and teach it to myself, but really only got as far as memorizing some kana and basic words. With all the language stuff installed, though, if I know what the text is supposed to be, I can type it in in Japanese. In theory, I could do the same with the Hebrew text, but I don't have a clue about Hebrew text entry.

Heh, that was actually my nice way of asking if there was a program or something I could use to get the text. And foreign alphabet entry on a standard keyboard continues to impress me.
