Interesting thing about that meme? The original post did not have that obnoxious comment about these books being "on the shelf to make you look smart or well-rounded."

If there are any D&D players out there, the folks over at LibraryThing could use some help sorting out/combining/separating all the different D&D works. Take a peek, fix a few things, every little bit helps. Especially if you know what you're doing.

There's something incredibly messed up about the fact that when I get new books, the first thing I think is, "Yay, now I can put them in LibraryThing!"

...and it's even more messed up that my second thought is, "I need to read this so I can tag it properly!"

I keep finding things that should be put into my LibraryThing account, but unfortunately there are language barriers from recording these things properly. The only other language besides English that I read is Spanish, and er, that uses the same alphabet ( Read more... )
