Ohcool! I've found a few people who went to Dragon*Con on LJ. :) I'm definitely going back next year. I don't care how difficult it is or who or what tries to get in my way, I am *there*. The Brittrack room is going to explode with Torchwoody goodness, the Dealer Halls will have merchandise *galore* and I intend to be right in the middle of it all, representing the British side of the fandom, geeking out to the max and gloating over everyone 'cause we had it first!

Ahem. Yes, I'm going back. (And yeah, we stayed in the Marriott. Bit of a mess, but still incredibly awesome, particularly for a first-timer like me.)

Re: pic comment. *laughs out loud and with much cackling* I know just how you feel! It was even better in person! :D

Not only do I attend the convention, I WORK for the convention. I the Director for the Apocalypse Rising track. I sent Caro, who runs the Brit Track, a heads up that Gareth has been doing conventions with a few heavy hints that people would love to see him and some of the others this coming year.

And I always stay in the Marriott.....Hyatt and Hilton are NIGHTMARES to get elevators up to the upper floors.

Only trouble re: Gareth is that they might be filming around then. But if we sent lots and lots of polite begging letters to him/the Torchwood people...?

I'll have to swing by the Apocalypse Rising track next year, even though I know nothing about it, just so I can say hi. :)

(And racing the lifts in the Marriott is fun. One con and I've been led into bad habits by my friends... ;) )
