Thanks love, we felt really lovely.

Not always - I am a procrastinator most times.

Can't wait until next year, should be a blast.

You both look like princess-ladies! ;)

Well done on the blouse. That's a super-fast effort. I've been putting myself to good use too and have done a large amount on my Regency bodice (the real mccoy) - handsewing because it's too fiddly to machine it.

Also - you should put this up on the Victorian Fashion community on flickr now that you've joined! (If you need help on doing it errr... give Rhys a call - my mobile charger is nowhere to be found still)

And let me know if you come across any other communities that you think I'd be into! (please!)

Apparently because I have a yahoo email I was already registered. I'll certainly post the photo. I joined a Jane Austen group, we'll see if I like it.

Tanks. Can't believe I was all done by 12:30.

I remember thinking of hand sewing my regency - not going to happen now, he he. Glad you are making progress. Don't forget that we have our meeting on Tuesday (bring your handsewing cause I will).

*clapping hands* You both look so lovely!!!

The shape of your skirt looks different compared to the ballgown version?

*clapping hands too* Thanks, it was all over by 10:00 but I wanted to stay dressup *pout*. Can't wait until Montville and next year.

It certainly does in that shot, it was the same undergarments as at the ball so don't know why it looks different.

My answer to why it looks differnt... WIND... hehe..

and daylight always has a habit of making things look different. Maybe your petticoat was froofier? We kept doing the cupcake dance to froof outselves up again... And then Donna fell over.. -snicker-

The Premiers Department are writing up some official thing - it's the Premier's Diary - basically a calendar of events for the year.. :)... We will be featured on the page that is devoted to the day we'll be going to at Newstead House next year.

man oh man I wish I hadn't forgotten my parasol..-pout-

I should get around to looking through my photos and posting about my bargains (no it wasn't $2/mt silk, but it still was pretty good) that I got today from Spotlight, but I think I'll do that tomorrow.. I'm going to go sleep now!

Thanks for stating what it was for, my memory is shocking.

I hate it when I forget something, maybe I should have spoken to you before going to colaborate what we were thinking of taking.

Can't wait to see not only your photos but the photographers as well.

Sounds like you had a successful trip to Spotlight, can't wait to hear what you got.
