He watched him stand and shiver in the night air, and the need to hold him close and take him somewhere safe got stuck in his throat, chocking his voice -
But he just couldn’t. Not without knowing - what he - if that bastard…
Long hours had passed when he gathered enough courage to walk into his room, his heart thumping hard when he met his eyes. “I just wanted - to…”
He hesitated, spellbound by his bruised lips, his own sinister fears blinking from their dark corner in his mind, making him ache - Just not to him, please - hands trembling with the need to touch him, thought he didn’t dare -
Then Reid smiled to him, and opened his arms - and Morgan burrowed himself against his warmth, and hugged him tight.
