As a public service to the world, I will NOT be forwarding OR posting the recipe and photo I received for Kitty Litter Cake from a crazed aunt. I will reveal that it involved semi-melted tootsie rolls. I am sure you can find a picture of it if you are so inclined ( Read more... )

Heh, I had one of those cakes once and it was actually really good. However, it was a leftover piece and I didn't actually see what the cake looked like whole until I ate the piece and was then shown a picture of the cake. I'm so happy I waited until *after* eating the piece.

Also I just wanted to back you up on the ultra-skinny thing. If Teri Hatcher would put on a little weight she would probably look 5-10 years younger. Right now she looks like she's wasting away. I thought we as a society were going to do something about this 15 years ago when Kate Moss was about as emaciated as her modeling career was successful, but since then it seems like it's only gotten worst. In fact, I know it's gotten worse; look no further than Calista Flockhart for proof.

P.S. what kind of DVR do you have? Cable company box or something you bought retail?

Any fan should remember my battle with DirecTV. That's what I have.

Ahhh, I missed that. That was a few days after I got back from L.A. and the day before I heard about my dad. I have no clear memories from that period.

Well, DirecTV, that explains it. Excellent programming, shitty hardware. In my experience anyway.

This whole wasting away thing.

Like, with Nicole Ritchie, I want to save her. I feel like she doesn't know any better. But with Hatcher, I am truly lost. She is sooooooooo gross and alien-like, but she will never, ever know. It doesn't help that she is not a terribly talented actress.

I made that kitty litter cake for the teen Fear Factor program at work! Man, that was great.

The women of Desperate Housewives, Felicity Huffmann (who's way too cool for the show, but obviously won't be able to live off of Dvaid Mamet and SportsNight residuals forever) are freakin' SCARY, is what they are, regardless of weight or lack thereof. Most grotesque cast assembled since Beverly Hills 90210 ...

...spandex in jeans is evil. Evil. It looks terrible if you have curves in certain places (I have saddlebags and the jeans always stretch hideously over them). I wish they'd just do like with men's jeans and make a whole bunch with mixed measurements. You know, waist and then length? Why is that so hard?

I am with you, but take it one step further: Any spandex that does not involve a trip to the gym is both unnecessary and evil. Furthermore, the forced public viewing of same (regardless of who it is on) should be a shooting offense.

I love my Gap jeans. I find the cotton to spandex ratio supurb for my curves :]
