The security guard who patrols my friend's block in Portland rides a Segway. He's this really small nerdy looking guy too. So ridiculous. Who's he gonna scare? Is he really going to chase down someone in that thing?

We can't impeach him until after the election when the DEms take back Congress. Right now, even if they put forth the articles of impeachment, the REpublicans would smack them down. The only reason Clinton got impeached in the House was because REpubs had the majority.

You didn't include a quote from moi, Mr. Political? Pshaw! :)

I've always thought those Segway things were retarded and I can scarcely remember anyone who didn't feel the same. In fact, a year or so ago I could have sworn I heard that the Segway was widely regarded as the worst invention of the new millennium and that the company went bankrupt. Then I was walking along Venice Beach back in July and some douche came zipping out of an alley onto the walk and I was shocked b/c I hadn't seen one in 3-4 years. But the native Los Angelenos I was with were like "Oh, no, those things are massively popular. In some communities everyone has one." I wanted to call bullshit on them, but enh.

"...on the fifth anniversary of the most overhyped tragedy in the history of the world."

Were those your words or thiswaste's? I want to know who I should give credit to for saying what I have not had the balls to say in recent years. (To be honest, I've made comments that made vague references to this opinion and it's gotten me in trouble on multiple occasions ( ... )

that's me. i've gotten in trouble for saying things like that too but I'm known to be quite controversial anyway. However, what you quoted are lagizma's words , not mine. My words were before that.
