I think Peter is actually the sexier character, which is not to say that Neal isn't chock full of goodness. Back to your DeKay exception/inclusion comment, I think the show works the way it does because of both of them, but if DeKay didn't sell the chemistry, this little series wouldn't have occurred to me.

It feels odd to take credit for the characters just doing what they do in my head. It isn't every show with slashy ingredients that translates into a story urge for me.
