Bleh. I've commented on how my RP motivation has decreased over the years, and really the fact I'm still into it after 4 years (I joined my first game, laststopgakuen back in Feb '08) is amazing enough. When it comes to hobbies and the like, my interest wanes after a while. It was one of the reasons why I was hesitant to really join it to begin with but well. ( Read more... )

Maybe taking a break from RP altogether will help. Don't play anywhere at all for awhile. It'll give you time to recharge and re-evaluate what you want to do. I stopped RPing altogether (well... sans the periodic D_M post every few months) last June or so, and I've actually found it really nice not being "tied" to RPs.

In your case, though, maybe some time off will help you get your mojo back, or, that failing, decide that you don't want to RP for awhile. :>
