I'd do this, but I finally--after being pressured I might add--wrote an SS/HG fic. The only time I've worked with this pair was one year for the Twelve Drabbles of Christmas in 2006 (I think.)

The sad thing is that I've read stories like yours that ended with them having sex and consequently falling in love.

Although I like SS/HG, I've never regarded the pairing as more plausible than most other pairings.

It's one of the few het pairing I was never able to get into, and I still don't see the attraction. To each her own. Usually when I write Snape, I either pair him with Lily or an OFC. (Sometimes I'll use Sinistra or Burbage, which is almost like writing an OFC.) Anyway, after I was told my Snape fic would be better if it was Snanger, I decided to give it a try.

My earlier attempt to leave a comment didn't see to take, so trying this again...

This really made me laugh! Even though (or perhapas because :) I count myself a fan of SS/adultHG, I can see how very easy the pairing can slip into absurdity. Great voices here, could really hear Snape saying these lines.
