Had a dream last night where I was talking with one of my exes about his current life situation. The conversation was light, with the warmth of old friends. It was a very ordinary moment. My spouse and I were legally married in July 2014. As you may well know, it became legal for same-sex couples to wed in Illinois in June 2014. Unexpected "snow day". Since the high school that my dual-credit students go to is closed due to weather, there is no dual-credit class to teach.
