So... where to start? A whirlwind start to the new year it has been, yes indeed.

Spent much of last week in mad preparation for richlayers 's arrival.  the_godking and I cleaned every room of the house, some more than once.  I baked four batches of cookies (because there has been so much virtual cookie-sharing over the years, how could I not???) and two loaves of bread
