Ha. So sometimes I love being a native Californian. Other times not so much. You know like when the gas hits just below 5 bucks or when the Santa Ana's roll into town or the inevitable question that happens when kids find out where I'm from. "So do you surf?" Dude. No. And bigger shock I am really not into the beach that much

One of my co-worker was actually listening to some radio show today when that happened. The announcer was in California and just said (paraphrasing) "There's some shaking. Be right back." lol I guess you really do have to grow up there. BTW, he was apparently right back too. :p

Anyway, glad you're all good. :)

Aw, *hugs back*. We haven't had one that big in awhile but it was fine and everyone is good. And truthfully I live in San Diego, so while we def. felt it down here, up in L.A. was a little worse. It just always kinda amuses me that while everyone calls my immediate family and I just kinda are like - meh - and go back to what we were doing!
